The rhythmic ebb and flow of the tides reveals a beach that can grow in size to over 100 yards wide and produce tidal pools filled with aquatic sea creatures. After the high tide recedes, the sand becomes hard packed and is perfectly suited for bicycling and walking.

Our gently sloping beaches and offshore sandbars create calm surf conditions and provide for some of the safest waters on the east coast. Ocean temperatures range from the mid-seventies in May and to the low eighties during the summer before falling back into the mid-seventies in October.

Beach Access in Sea Pines

Sea Pines has beach access paths about every tenth of a mile for residents and guests who choose to walk or bike to the beach. If you prefer to drive, we have two beach clubs that provide parking and facilities.

The Sea Pines Beach Club is for both property owners and resort guests. Here you will find a gathering place for sand and water activities.

In season, have lunch at the snack bar or stay for a casual dinner at the Surf Side Grill, the only outdoor oceanfront restaurant on the Hilton Head Island. Kick back at the best beach bar on the Island and sip on your favorite cold beverage as pelicans glide overhead during the day, or come back at night and enjoy live entertainment as the moon rises over the ocean. At the Sea Pines Beach Club you'll find a beach shop for forgotten necessities, restrooms and changing facilities

If you’re looking to enhance your beach activities, talk with the lifeguards at Shore Beach Service, Inc. to rent umbrellas and chairs, body boards, aqua cycles, fun cycles, banana peels, paddle skis and sailboats! The Tower Beach Club

Located underneath the big blue water tower at the southern tip of Sea Pines, the Tower Beach Club is designated for the exclusive use of property owners. The facility offers outdoor grills, picnic tables and a shaded pavilion that offers stunning sunset views of the ocean and the entrance to Calibogue Sound. Ample car parking and restrooms are available. This is one of our favorite places to relax and spend time with family and friends.
